2talk IOU

We all know how frustrating it is to run out of credit so we created 2talk IOU to enable you to carry on calling and using your broadband when you unexpectedly run out of funds.

How it Works

Once triggered an IOU will enable you to call NZ and Australian landlines and mobiles.  It will also ensure you can continue to use your Broadband services as per usual.

Any applicable charges associated with continued use of your services will be applied to your account and you will need to repay these when you top up.

Once enabled you will have at least 1 full business day to top up - so for example if you run out of funds on Friday evening you will have until Tuesday at 12pm to top up your account. This allows time for bank transfers to clear and be processed by our systems.

Once you have topped up we'll automatically remove your IOU. If you fail to top up before your IOU expires then it will be automatically removed and calling will be suspended and your broadband speeds will be throttled.

Terms and Conditions
2talk IOU is only available on selected plans.  See our pricing page to confirm if your plan is eligible.

Once enabled IOU credit can be used to call NZ and Australian landline and mobile numbers. 2talk Broadband users will continue to access usual speeds while the IOU is in place.

Your IOU credit value is based on your account type.  If you exceed the credit value during the IOU period all calls will be limited.  Check with the support team for your IOU credit value.

2talk IOU is only available for 1 business day, if you fail to top up within the IOU time frame the IOU will automatically be removed, calling will be suspended and your broadband service will be throttled.

If you do not wish to have 2talk IOU enabled on your account please open a support ticket requesting that the feature be removed.
