Call Flow Simulator
Test how a call would behave before it happens
The Call-flow Simulator lets you preview how a call will be handled, based on your line's current call flow settings. Run a simulation for any date and time to check how a call will route before it reaches your customers.
Accessing the Simulator
Find the Call-flow Simulator on the Number Summary page in Cloud PBX. Select a number to open the Simulator for that number.
How the Call-flow Simulator Works
- Choose a date and time to simulate, so you can check how a call would be handled at any point
- Choose whether the line should be treated as busy during the simulation
- Run the simulation to see the result
- Move back a step if the call flow has branches, so you can try a different path
- After running a simulation, see a summary line showing the date, time, and outcome, for example "Simulating [date] [time] · During work hours · Available"
- See each call flow feature listed in order, showing how the line interacts with it. The order follows your configured call flow
- If a feature has more than one possible outcome, choose an option to see how the call flow continues
- Features not in use appear greyed out
- Features in use show the current setting, with options to view or edit its configuration
