Call Screening

Call screening can be used to reduce the time spent dealing with unwanted calls.

Call Screening Explained

How it works:

  • When screening is active, callers are asked to say their name before the call connects to you.
Setting it up:
  • You can choose which types of calls to screen in the 'Select your call screening preference' section.
When you receive a screened call:
    • You'll hear the caller's recorded name.
    • You'll then be asked if you want to accept the call or send it to voicemail.
      Remembering your choices:
If you turn on 'Remember screening choice for calling number':
    • The 2talk Cloud PBX will remember how you handled previous calls from each number.
    • Future calls from the same number will be automatically accepted or rejected based on your first decision."
