Experiencing slow data on your mobile connections. Check out our troubleshooting tips before contacting support.
Step One: Perform Preliminary Checks
Mobile Plan: Check the 2talk web portal to confirm which mobile plan you are on and how much fast data is offered. Select the mobile module to check your connection details - you can view the plan and your data usage.
Mobile Data or WiFi: Check you are not connected to WiFi at your location
Service Outage: Check our status page for any outage notifications or planned work notices at https://status.2talk.co.nz/
Location and coverage Check network coverage is not the issue. Are you experiencing slow speeds at just at one location or is it observed everywhere? What coverage do you have, how many bars and is it 4/5G?
Step Two: Restart Your Mobile Device
Mobile Device: Once you have confirmed you still have fast data available on your plan and that there are no service outages impacting your location restart your device.
Step Three: Perform Diagnostic Tests
Slow Performance: Provide speed test results to local speed test servers, e.g. https://speed-tester.nzpbx.com/
Step Four: Contact Support
If you continue to have issues after all your checks please contact our support team for assistance.

Provide Details: Provide as much detail as possible from the troubleshooting steps above. Describe the issue being observed and provide examples.
