Lyra BYOC Trunk - ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs is a voice AI platform for building and deploying conversational AI agents on phone calls. It supports BYOC, allowing you to use your own SIP carrier and local NZ numbers. This guide covers connecting ElevenLabs to 2talk's Lyra Platform.

2talk Lyra ElevenLabs trunks are not currently supported for TLS and media encryption.

Voice Connection Portal Settings

Label: Enter a name for the connection/trunk in the Label field (mandatory). The label field is an alphanumeric field, underscore, dash and full stop are also supported.

Connection Type: Select BYOC as the Connection Type

Service Provider: Select ElevenLabs as the service provider

Enabled: Turns the SIP connection on or off.

Default CLI Number: Used when the presented CLI does not match any valid CLI on the account.

SIP Message Number Format: Sets the number format used in SIP messages to your user agent - options are National, E.164 & +E.164. This should match the format of the phone number configured in the ElevenLabs portal.


ElevenLabs Web Portal Settings

From the ElevenLabs web portal. Please check ElevenLabs documentation for full details.

Select 'Phone Numbers' under 'Deploy' in the side bar.

Select 'Import Number' and then 'From SIP Trunk'.

Set a 'Label' value of your choosing.

Input a number assigned to your BYOC ElevenLabs voice connection in the 'Phone Number' field.
You must use the number format specified by the 'SIP Message Number Format' your in the 2talk voice connection settings. This defaults to national number format, e.g. 091234567.

Inbound configuration:

Set 'Media Encryption' to disabled.

Set 'Allowed Source IP Addresses' to 27.111.14.0/24.

Outbound Configuration:

Set 'Address' to 'lyra.2talk.co.nz' or other proxy address you use for the Lyra voice platform.

Set 'Transport Type' to 'TCP'.

Set 'Media Encryption' to disabled.

Set 'SIP Trunk Username' to the 'Pilot Number' configured in your 2talk voice connection settings.

Set 'SIP Trunk Password' to the 'Pilot Password' configured in your 2talk voice connection settings.

Once configured, inbound calls to your 2talk NZ number will route directly to your ElevenLabs voice agent, and your ElevenLabs agent can make outbound calls through your 2talk number.
