Lyra SIP Settings
Don't see your device in our user guides? Most generic SIP v2 compliant devices can be registered with just a few basic settings.
Generic Settings for 2talk Lyra Voice Platform
- Login/Username/ID: The 2talk number you want to register
- Authorisation Username/ID: The 2talk number you want to register
- Password: The password configured for this number (Default is the 2talk account password)
- Domain/Realm: lyra.2talk.co.nz
- Proxy: lyra.2talk.co.nz
- Outbound Proxy: lyra.2talk.co.nz
- Use Outbound Proxy: yes
- Register Expires: 600 seconds
- NAT Keep-Alive: 60 seconds
- DMTF Mode: RFC2833 (or AVT/out of band). Use 'inband' as the DTMF mode for fax machines or alarm systems.

IP: 27.111.14.99
UDP and TCP ports: 5060,5061 - RTP/Media Range From
IP: 27.111.14.0/24
UDP ports: 20000–50000
Other configurable settings vary by device, but we generally recommend customers apply the following:
- Preferred Codec: G.711a (or alaw)
- Secondary Codec: G.711u (or ulaw)
- Other default supported codecs: G.722, G.729a, GSM
- T.38 support: Enabled (for fax machines or alarms)
- Echo cancelation: Enabled (except for fax machines or alarms)
- Silence Suppression or VAD: Disabled
